On the eight of January, some teachers were invited to have a tweeny coaching session conducted by Ms Mary Ang, the President of the Handball Federation of Singapore. The objectives of this one and a half hour session was to expose these teachers to tweeny handball, and to give them a hands on session to experience it first hand for themselves, which is different from the handball games played in the olympics. Many teachers found this session to be a very enjoyable experience, and it allowed bonding between the teachers and members of the federation. The enthusiastic teachers were briefed on the rules and regulations of the game, who will in turn promote handball to their students in their schools, to create an awareness for the new sport in singapore and garner support for the upcoming youth olympic games.
