IHF - HFS National Coaching Certification Course 2010

0. This meeting marks the first step of collaboration between IHF & HFS.

The Handball Federation of Singapore (HFS) is honoured with the appointment of distinguished coach and lecturer Mr Allan Lund (Denmark) by the International Handball Federation (IHF) to deliver a National Coaching Certification Course from 29th Nov to 8th Dec in Singapore. A total of 85 PE Teachers & Coaches attended the course at ITE College East.

With much professional experience in coaching, Mr Lund shared his technical knowledge on the different aspects of handball teaching, according to his philosophy of maintaining a high level of activity and participation through his lessons. His infectious enthusiasm made the course engaging, and the stringent assessment at the end of the course ensured that everyone put in their best effort to earn the certification. Street Handball is also introduced to the participants, for the first time in Asia.


HFS would like to thank Mr Allan Lund for his generous sharing of knowledge, advice, and resources, and most importantly, the IHF for always supporting the development of Handball in Singapore.
