Dear Handball Coaches,
HFS is pleased to announce that the Federation will be nominating 2 coaches to attend the IHF Symposium for Coaches from 29 to 31 August, 2012 in Doha, Qatar in conjunction of the Super Globe. The Super Globe is a handball competition contested between the champion clubs from continental confederations. At the fringes of the Super Globe, the IHF Symposium for Coaches will handle topics about the latest development in Handball, especially recent trends of the Olympic Games 2012 and World Championships. Participants will deepen their knowledge of the theory and also learn how to practically implement the latest developments directly during the lessons conducted by World Class Handball Coaches.
Special feature of the course includes:
- Applying modern coaching methods
- Unique approach regarding the preparation of top teams
- Building a network among the top coaches from all over the world
- Observation of selected Super Globe Matches
Who can apply:
At least 18 years of age
Obtain HFS National Coaching Accreditation Program (NCAP) Level 1
Interested Coaches may send your personal details, coaching experiences (preferably HFS organized or endorsed tournaments) and a one page write up in your interest in developing yourself as a Handball Coach including your contributions to the development of Handball in Singapore after completing the course to Mr Ong Yonghui, HFS Hon Secretary, at honsecretary@hfs.org.sg or by post to HFS office at Jurong West Sports Hall 20 Jurong West Street 93 #02-05A Singapore 648965 by 13th July 2012 (Friday). Additional information of this course will only be released to coaches who are shortlisted.
